Professional Installation and Training

If you would like your SolarTrack system installed and configured perfectly and if you want comprehensive onsite training on how to use the system as effectively as possible, you can take advantage of our professional installation and training service.

If you opt for this service, one of our qualified SolarTrack Engineers will visit your salon, install SolarTrack on your computer and provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the system.

During the day, several steps will be taken to ensure that your system is working perfectly and your staff are fully trained on its use:


 Installation
The SolarTrack Engineer will first install the SolarTrack system on the computer in your salon. All the components of the software will be fully installed and tested. During this process, the engineer will perform some basic tests on your computer to ensure that it is running as fast as possible and has enough free space and memory to use the product efficiently.

 Configuration and Setup
Next, the engineer will configure the system to meet your requirements. Sessions, courses, prices and equipment will be set up to reflect the pricing structure in your salon. All the necessary settings and options will be completed at this stage so that the system runs how you want it to run. If you have an Internet connection or a Fax Modem pre-configured, the fax/email facilities in SolarTrack will also be configured.

Please note that due to time constraints, not all your products may be entered. This will be so that the engineer can devote more time to training your staff so that they can use the system fully. The remaining products can then be entered by your staff in the future. However, if you have specific requirements, please let us know.

If you are already using an older salon system, we may also be able to convert your existing database of customers during this stage. Please contact us for more information.

 Training
The engineer will then provide your staff with full SolarTrack training. Each function in the system will be clearly explained. For your convenience, the training session may be split up into smaller groups where there are many people to train, or it may be split up into different sections, such as user training, administrator training, report writer training, etc.

 System Checks and Sign Off
Finally, the SolarTrack engineer will conduct another system check and ask you to sign-off the training. You will also be asked to provide your feedback, which you can do on the day or by post if you prefer. This is important to us as the feedback allows us to improve our service over time.

In conclusion, at the end of the installation and training day, the SolarTrack system will be fully installed and configured on your computer and your staff will be fully trained on all aspects of its use.
