SolarTrack Product Tour: Backup and restore

SolarTrack records a large volume of information about your business on a day to day basis. It is quite possible that this information is essential to the running of your business such as the number of customers with courses, etc. It is therefore essential that you take adequate steps to ensure the safety of this information. This involves backing up the data on a daily basis.

Due to the importance of the information contained within SolarTrack, the database system has the ability to perform a 'backup'. This process involves copying the 'live' information to a safe destination. This copy is not actually used by the system but in the event of a malfunction and the live data becoming corrupt or other unusable, the data that has been backed up can be 'made live'
